ran a late ninja session with my cousin his wife and her lil bro who usally takes all his catches cause he bait and waits on piers and local parks. he catches mostly macks and rays and rarely a bass i seen in his pic shots of his cam, so i was hesatent on taking him with me. i kept telling him at least don't take under size fish. he gave me the if i catch it im keeping it small or big..F**K this dudes hard headed. we started out in pedro at midnight and bites were happening but no commited fish, i finally land one 10incher sandie and it looked up but we shook the spot around 2am and fleed to the fire house where the bites happened for them. one 18in halie my cousin lands. he says i'm gonna keep it and i ask how you gonna walk it all the way back, by the time you get back the bite will be gone..with a mad look he dropped it back in to the drink and lands a nice 12inch sandie and released it. i land a short halie about 10inch. his wife lands a 19inch halie. his wife and peoples get tired so we drop them off in wilmington and my cousin still wants to fish. (ninja fishing is in the blood) we head down to 2nd street long beach and lands 2 good size spotties my cousin got skunked but he's determined to catch his first spottie i think he's hooked. we left about 7am and went to the other side of the lab fishing the canals of seal beaches ray bay and i land a small lizzy fish and another halie for my cousin. we end it at 9am and hopefully he finds it more fun to catch and release then to keep..
