Angie called me and she said she wanted to book a trip for her husband Brian and her 7 year old son Adam.
She told me that this was going to be Adams birthday gift so she wanted to get him a trip because he loves bass fishing and he has always wanted to go on a Bass boat.
She told me that Perris is the lake they fish alot so we went there..
While the bite at DVL has been really good...The bite for those that know at Perris has been EXCELLENT as well. So I couldnt wait to get Brian and the birthday boy Adam out on Perris for a great day on the lake.
On Adams first cast his rod went BENDO and his reel began to SCREAM!! I grabbed the net and as soon as I got back with the net..the fish got off.:mad:
Thats okay I told him.... I said, "Youll catch more, I promise!"
A few mintues later Adam was on again!!! I net a NICE 3 1/2 lb Perris largemouth.
Then Adam was at it again...and again and again..and again...He had his dad 5-0.. :Shocked::Shocked: That was about the time that Adam asked his dad if he wanted to use the rod he was using....hahahahahahaha:EyePop: Trash talk from a 7 year old...gotta love it!! :LOL:
Finally Brian got into the action and started catching bass..
The action got stupid good. Adam ended up with 13 bass and his dad ended up with 10... ANd THEY CALLED IT A DAY AT NOON. :Shocked::Shocked: They caught over 23 bass before noon... They couldnt be happier.. In the last 1/2 hour young Adam was getting pretty tired from all the excitement and bass action....so they decided to end the day at noon... At 11:59 Adam made his last cast of the day...And he yelled " hook up" and I netted his last fish on his last cast.. too cool!!!:Big Grin:
They told me that they had an absolute blast and couldnt wait to get out to Perris again with me soon..

All of their bass were caught in 26-43 ft of water on reaction baits and plastics.

As I mentioned earlier...everyone knows DVL is going off right now but most dont know that the bite at Perris is awesome too...
