My dad speaks it, his parent came from there,
He told me 'In high school you need to take German'

Told him, 'No way, I taking Spanish' took 1 semester.:Rolls Eyes:

Ended up with 50+ trips to Baja,
Got a buddy out of jail in Ensanada,
Married a Chilean,
4 trips to Chile,
Lived in Chile for a year,
Bought property in Frutillar, Chile (German town)
Ended up in a spanish country listening to German, 'No Comprende'

Shoud have listened to Pops.

FYI Most of the Germans in Chile were farmers the immigrated in the 1890's
The % of WWII Germans in Chile was a very small.

extrapilate on carbolic acid please.I am curious.

carbolic acid is a form of phenol. Phenol was use by the Germans in WWII to execute prisoners before the use of Zyklon-B (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zyklon-B) pellets.

BTW very nice fish!
