Spent 5 hours in sea of cortez. First 2 hours was just to wait for the bait boat to come to give us live bait. Next hour only got 2 fish, smallest ones. Next hour and a half, we called it quit after landed the big mama 70 lbs yellow fin tuna, while the fish still are biting WFO.

It is RED SNAPPER. According to the captain, it was the catch of the day due to the size and its location. It is usually only found in rocky area, not in the middle of ocean.

Nice catch! Not fun waiting 2 hrs for bait, but catching what you did had to make up for the lost time! Great job!
