SPENT THE WEEK UP NORTH,TUES ON THE WAY DOWN THE HILL FROM SOUTH LAKE I GOT A CALL IT WAS ANITA A CLIENT FROM A STRIPER TRIP ,HER AND HER CREW WERE AT THE PVR TRYING TO FIGURE OUT SOME INFO I GAVE HER,AFTER TALKING A WHILE SHE WENT BACK TO THE FISHING ,SO WHILE DRIVING I THOUGHT ITS ONLY TEN MINUTES AWAY SO I MADE A DETOUR TO THE PVR. WE PARKED AND THE GUYS GRABBED THERE GEAR I JUST WALKED OVER TO THE INLET AND FOUNFD THE CREW I HELPED SHOW HOW TO HOOK CRICKETS AND WERE TO TROW THE OFFERING ,CONSIDERING THE WATER WAS COMING OUT FULL BLAST AND IS VERY HARD TO FISH. NEXT THING YOU KNOW THE CATCHING STARTED,PAT LET ME USE HIS SETUP AND DARREN JUMPEDINTO THE ACTION. ME AND PAT WENT BACK THE NEXT DAY FOR WFO ACTION,WE WENT BACK THIRS FOR SLOWER ACTION, THE FLOW WAS STILL WIDE OPEN ONCE THEY SLOW IT DOWN THEN THE FISHING WILL BE GREAT ,ANITA IT WAS NICE SEEING YOU AND YOURE CREW I HOPE YOU HAD GOOD ACTION FURTHER NORTH WERE YOU WERE GOING ,,,,,,,,,t/o,,,,,,,,,,,,

Congrats on the slay.

In NC you can use live store bought trout for bait as long as you keep your receipt and don,t fish in trout stocked water. They are great for striper but the carP don't like them.
