ok i was on Youtube right now and i came across an old WWF video and the people commenting where arguing about wrestling being fake or not or the level of fake it is and this is what i have to say about this

just bare with me it is 9:30am and i haven't slept thanks to many things

if any 1 thinks you can run full speed n2 a side kick and not be completely unconscious for at least the next 10minutes and not 2 mention have severe whip lash along with a severe concussion at least and possibly an easily broken neck to go along with a crushed jaw. and then stand up and take full speed tackle with no padding 2 speak of from a man the size and strength of Goldberg and not suffer broken ribs a punchered or collapsed lung. I would call that person a retard and hope he never has kids

wrestling may take athletic ability but every little thing about it is fake to honestly think they can take the full effect of any one of the dozens of moves they do a night and not be seriously injured or hospitalized and then come back and do it all again the next week is just absolutely retarded and the fact that is exactly what they sell you is insulting and then not only do people like it but people believe it is just down right embarrassing for the human race.

The type of moves done in this type of wrestling are well rehearsed and is more of a performance act then real fighting/wrestling. And with these types of performances, injuries will happen.

WWE, WCW and other Wrestling is fake..always has been always will be.. Its pure entertainment.. suspense, drama, comedy, are all part of it that makes it intrigueing to some.
When I was like10-14 I liked it but that was in the early to mid 80's and it seemed funner then with the way it was back then. WWF started to change in the late 80's and into the 90's and those changes made it not as entertaining as it once was to me...or maybe I just started to have other interests...either way...Its just pure entertainment performed by guys who are indeed athletes who are great at what they do..
People cant say that the actors in WWE arent great athletes.. Bobby Lashley (spelling?) was a great college wrestler..national champion. Broc Lesner was a college national champion wrestler and now is the Heavyweight champion in the UFC... The WWE is full of guys who were great college athletes.. "The Rock" was a good football player at the University of Miami. Kurt Angle was a college wrestler and an Olympic Champion..just to name a few more.
It takes a special breed to do what they do.. it takes a special type of athlete to do what they do. Yeah they let up on the slams and miss the kicks and punches "most" of the time but some times they connect and full speed.
Owen Hart paid the ultimate price for doing something that is entertainment.
What used to piss people off was that the WWF used to try to sell their show as the real deal then in the 90's they gave in and tried the right approach and stated selling it for what it is.. "entertainment".
