Here's a review I found pretty handy


Throughout several fishing trips during the summer of 2004 I had the pleasure of using a pair of Fishworks Clipperton Walk shorts. These shorts proved to be what I think most offshore anglers would prefer to have.

Fishing shorts don’t have to be eye-catching but should be practical to their intended use, and willing to withstand the salt spray over time. Fishworks has been able to incorporate all of those features directly into the Clipperton walk shorts. Made from a poly/nylon mix material, Clipperton shorts tend to repel most water. In the event they do get soaked, drying time is minimal.
During the dog days of summer, Fishworks shorts allow air to pass through and provide a refreshing breeze rather than causing you to sweat. The pure eye-appeal of the apparel makes it a great all around garment for the beach, fishing, or just lounging around the house.

Fishworks also provides a nice-sized pocket for all of your small items to be carried. The Velcro enclosure assures that all of your pocketed items will still be there until you’re ready to use them. An additional pliers pocket is the handiest item about the shorts, since most anglers are constantly looking for their pliers (that are usually sliding around in the bottom of the boat). Clipperton shorts will assure you that your pliers or cutters will be right by your side.
