The Newport and San Pedro Bait Barges both received a fresh load of live squid this morning, which should last thru the sweekend. In addition, we have the usual anchovies and sardines and cured ssardines upon request in Newport Beach. As far as fishing, the seabass have been biting in the dark just inside eagle reef at catalina the past three nights. 17-18 fa with a jig and squid on the bottom. Calico bass fishing has been good around the island lately too. Good luck and good fishing to all!!
