2:00am left the I*E a little late, got to the saouth bay about 3:30 and the bites were slow to a snails pace. although i had comitted to staying to one particular spot that i know holds big spotties and sandies, i didn't get to walk over to the fireboat house to check out if there were any baitfish running around there cause i wanted to check out a marina down the street that looked good to fish. i did land a 12in sandie that tried to dive me in to the pylons but luckly i had on some BIG*GAME 25lb test line on due to losing alot of skirtjighammers when these biggies take a run for cover.5:30am the landing opens so i buy some izor 15lbs test line and the guy asks me which boat am i getting on. i told him "i'm not going on a boat." he must have wondered, what are you some kinda tweeker angler? lol, 6:00am i find the marina and caught some good spotties and sandies, water so clear you could see the ocean floor, i get rolled up by security and was told no fishing in the marina it's private property..there is no sign about no fishing, but i did see the private property sign. i don't argue i just left and head to cabrillo beach...6:30am cabrillo beach parked outside cause $9 is to much for parking, walked the beach and the breaks are to shallow for sandworms. i head towards the breakwall and pier..damn thats a long breakwall, walked half way and no hits..took me about 1 1/2 hours to walk the wall halfway, casting out every other rock jump..on the way back it took about 30min less casts..10:30 am i get the call from my little bro to help unload the furniture so i bail out of fishing to help move stuff, while i was helping move i seen something that looked familiar. here's 10 points for you movie goers if anyone can tell me where this mini mall was featured in a movie. what movie?

so after helping this fool move his whole house all i get is 2 slices of little ceasers and a capri soft pouch..mofu**er, it's all good. family, you would rather have family take advantage of you?goodtimes, i left the house about 7:00pm to find myself swerving in and out on the 405 southbound, i guess all the midnight runs are catching with me so i hit the 55fwy and pull off to eisenhower park to rest for a bit and do little freshwater cleaning on my rods..i freakin woke up at 10pm, 3 hours later..dammmmn, i grab my gear and dunk it in the water, tried the big hammer trout pattern with red/white skirt jig for nada..switched a couple more different color hamers and nothing still..f**k it, i go back to the car and get my old bass tackle for the fresh and found a white/green skirted IKA and worked the edges. a wierd ripple caught the corner of my eye. i toss in and look what i found.. i yell at some regulars to come over cause i'm thinkin i'm gonna hook fail (never buy bass pro bulk #### they suck) and lose my catch. i land it and asked the guy to take a quick pic so i can relese the hogg..11:30pm i get a notification alert on my g1 facebook page people are commenting on my wifes page saying "happy early birthday" oh shi77 it's rachels bday in 30min and i'm fishing in anahiem hills..i do literally 95mph on the freeway and get there with 8 min to spare at 11:52pm..i guess it's gonna be a shinney bday gift not my usal bassproshop 100 gift card, damn....
