I use Diawa oil and grease. They're good products but the thing I like the most is the applicators that they come in. They're perfect for getting the job done.

I have gone through a LOT of oils and greases for Reels...

Currently I am using:
Cals Drag grease (for drag washers and plates)
Oust Met-ol (Oust Speed Oil) (For Spool bearings).
Reel X for other moving parts & Bearings (Level wind etc)
LubriMatic Marine Bearings Grease, = Marine corrosion control.. -->
(for other bearings/parts and interior Reel painting).

Except for the LubriMatic Marine grease (any automotive store),
I get all the others via mail order from SmoothDrags.com...

Works for me......
