What's your experiences with Trumbull Lake (near the Virginias)

I drove by Friday and it was pretty crowded. Appeared to not be very deep. But I can see some people really enjoying the camping ...maybe a little tubing ... and canoe.

Wonder if it's worth a try if I'm already close to the Virginias (I understand Little Virginia is the better of the 2)

we fshed it friday as well, they stocked dfg fish,did get a limit with some brookies. the fish are not big as a rule but away steady action. fish a night crawler very slow you will kill them , keep it moving , then let it sit a minute or so.
tubing is awesome .

I prefer upper Virginia...but that's just me.

Trumbull....not one of my favorites...to say the least.
