Headed up to June loop on Thursday the 15th. Camped at Reversed Creek campground, and shared it with billions and billions of Mosquitos, worse than ever and I have been going to the Sierras for 25+ years.

Gull Lake was consistant fishing, but nothing large came out beyond 16". But it was limit after limit. June was a bit slow, but we never hit it real hard. Silver was off the hook with multiple Alpers up to 4 Lbs, and a bunch on the 2+ pound class. Rush creek was running high but good on Browns.

3x Members were able to complete their Sierra Slam, with Rainbow, Brook, Brown and Golden in a single day, with the Goldens and Brooks coming from the 20 Lake Basin above Saddlebag Lake <gorgeous area going back>. The Posse also did well at Saddlebag Lake with some nice fish.

Also got a picture and a look at the Yellow Legged Frog all the enviro-terrorists are getting their panties in a bunch and slaughtering tens of thousands of high country Trout to try and protect. Meanwhile, they continue to die off in waters the Trout have been exterminated in. We thought about using it for bait but were afraid some tree hugging hippie freak would jump out from behind a nearby tree with some lawyers and cause a ruckus.

All in all it was an epic trip, and as soon as we got the new waters dialed in it was non-stop catching for the Alpers Posse crew.
