Gettin Perch..

What's the best bait for perch fishing from a pier??...The last couple times I've been out on the pier I used a bare sabiki rig and I've gotten small perch. If I put bait on the hooks will it attract larger perch?...Anyone have any tips on landing big perch?..Thanks

Put a 1/4" piece of squid tenacle on each hook. Try mussel for bait too.

Bigger bait and bigger hook = bigger catch.

Some guys use those perch for bait. Big hook, weight = shark or ray. Hero or zero with big baits.
