any good spots around El Centro area for cat/bass/whatver ? Help Help

Im from San Diego, i heard about All American Canal and Alamo River has lots of catfishs, and bass....but i have no idea how to get to a good spot...I need help from you guys...please guide me to 3,4 good spots near El Centro...and what bait should I use to catch some fish...I plan to go out there this weekend..so please help...

bluegills,talapia,goldfish for flatheads.cutbait,chicken liver for channels,the two locations are good.If you can hold out for another week alot of catfishing will be going on see thread below yours.
