Prayer request for FNN members son

I personally believe and have witnessed first hand the power of prayer. I had the whole country praying for my newborn son Jack during his heart surgery at 7 days old. Witnessed him be revived 3 times and I know that I know that I know prayer works.

So here I am asking all you FNN members to pray for Finsmackdown's son Jake. Jake was diagnosed with Leukemia at 2 and was in remission. Last week a tumor was found on his lung and surgery is being scheduled as soon as possible.

Jake is 4, I ask that you all pray for not only Jakes well being, God guiding the surgeons hand, and also Jason, his wife Jenni and Jakes sister strenght through all of this.

Jake is a fighter, he can beat this.

Give em all you got Jake!

Prayers sent for Jake. Please remember that prayers are very powerful.

Here is something I experienced that I know prayers helped.

My baby girl Savannah will be two years old Sept 4, 2010. When she was just 5 days old I noticed some odd sores on her and brought her to our dr. He said it was a staff infection. Our Dr took samples and sent them out to the lab and then prescribed an ointment and oral meds. Within 2 days the sores went away. Then on the third day we got a call from our Dr giving us bad news. He said our baby had the deadly strain of the MSRA Staff Infection that had been killing adults and children. Then he said she needed to go to the Children's Hospital for a few weeks and have a spinal tap and IV's during her stay. I told our DR the sores had gone away and that she was eating and acting normal. Our Dr then got in touch with several of the leading Infectious Disease Dr's and got mixed opinions. All of the Dr's did say the medications would have no effect on our baby and they were surprised the symptons went away. Half of them still wanted her to be admitted for treatment and the others said to monitor her and see if any come back. Our Dr said we should do the latter and just monitor her. Well, our baby never had any more symptoms and is doing great.

The night we received the call from our Dr, I was already on my way to our church to make an appointment to have her baptized. When I got there I told the office what was happening and they said they would pray for us. I also sat down with our priest and he prayed for us. Of course we prayed as well. In our case everything worked our well.

I will pray for Jake and his parents to be strong and positive and that Jake will be on his way for a full recovery.

Please keep us updated and let us know as Jake progresses and improves.

Jake will be in my prayers and unto his family as well. Leukemia took one of my best friends life at age 16. It's devastating. I have hope that doctors in this age have more to offer. Get well soon Jake!

GREAT NEWS, GREAT NEWS

Little Jake had surgery on Tues.. The surgeon was able to remove the mass from the lung with the scope. Jake was having a rough 24 hours and bounced back last night and was probably going to be released today.

Jason {finsmackdown} just sent me a text. Pathology on the mass came back as NEGATIVE on WILMS TUMOR, it was a mass of blood vessels growing, NO CANCER.

Within a few hours young Jake and family will be heading home!
