A Spottie Morning w/ BGH & MrBeans (NPH 7.25)

Met up with BIG*GAME*HUNTER, MrBeans, CPT. Kirk, Juventino, and few other saltwater anglers on 18th st this morning (6am) for a little friendly competition. BGH, MrBeans, and I took to the shorelines, while CPT. Kirk, Juventino, and the others covered the harbor by tubes. Us shoreliners got to the hotspot at around 6:30am and fished til 11am. He took off like right after we all got our stuff in the cars. He was gone by like 11:15 hey got 8 5 spotted and i think 1 hali and 2 sandy but he said they were all dinks.

Greg picked up one 11" spottie, and a 16" hali form the tube. Not sure what he was tossing.

Great Job BGH Congrats! I'm sorry I couldnt stay for the weigh in I had to get back. I had a great time but caught only shorts 3 spots only 11 inches, 1 halibut, 1 yellow fin, and 4 sand bass.

Yeah, fishing NPH is all new to me too. This was my second time fishing the Harbor, first time fishing from shore. Luckly I had Moto and Mando passing on to me some pointers.

BTW, Max is also setting up a "LAB Get-Together" on Aug 21. It just an event to get everyone together (newbs, vet saltwater anglers) to share tips and techniques. Should be a fun event.
