Fishing map

Hi all,

Anyone knows where I can buy/download the fishing spots such as Huntington flats or Horsehelp kelp? And do I need a GPS to go out there? If not, How do you guys navigate out there?

I have 4 maps/charts from "Fish-N-Map Co." in Colorado. The four maps span L.A., Orange, and San Diego Counties and some distance past the Coronados into Baja CA Norte, both inshore and offshore.

Don't take a chance with just a map. GPS is a MUST if you planning on going outside the harbor. I've been out there when the fog is so thick you can barely see a few yrds ahead of you. Wouldn't want to read about someone lost at sea cause they didn't have a GPS. Beside having a GPS, have a VHF and learn how to navigate using a compass.............

Keep this in mind when driving in the fog without radar.
GPS will do you No Good in the fog when you get T Boned by some other boater driving with GPS.
Be aware of the shipping lanes too so you don't get cut in half while watching your GPS in the fog.
