Went to the Owens river last week to show my cousin who just got back from Iraq a fishing hole where i knew he could catch something. I was going to take him to castaic and rent a boat, but i wanted to blow his mind with numbers instead of size, because hes stationed in texas and says he catches bass with his buddy who is supposedly sponsered. But Any ways, we showed up around 8am, and someone was there ( SOOO RARE for me to see anyone out there, its in the middle of nowhere) and he told me he didnt catch anything, so i shrugged my shoulders very confused like. My Companions Looked a bit discouraged, because the man was a local and should have known exactly what he was doin. So I walked a bit aways away from him and cast in my spinner and then, Yiii Bendo, First cast!

Everyone Changed their Tune after that, and the local took off opening up the whole area.

Pretty much after that it was too much fish too take pictures, nothing huge, but plenty of fish.
i ended up pulling out 20 LMB, my buddy josh pulled out 17 LMB and 3 huge carp, then my other buddy ended up with 14 LMB, and my two twin cousins pulled out 9 Each. 69 LMB, 3 Carp, about 4 hours of fishing. And that was despite the water getting murkier and Murkier by the minute since it rained earlier in the morning for about an hour. SUPER HOT IN THIS DESERT, Take plenty of water if you plan on fishing these spots!
