Tough fishing. Not much catching, but what we got was quality.
Trolled all day Saturday and half day Sunday for a grand total of 2 browns, 2 rainbows, a large chub, and a perch. None of the trout were less than two pounds.
All trout taken on tasmanian devils in bloody ripper and frog patterns at six colors near the hiltons and alligator. The trusty needlefish was not so trusty this time. Oh well.
Surface temp was up to 75 degrees in some spots.
Made the midnight run Friday nite and according to my truck's thermometer it was 90 degrees around 3:00 AM an hour or so north of Mojave. Pretty large fire near Kern on Sunday.
