The USFS has spent a ton of money fixing up the campground at the lake but the holdup is with Caltrans finishing up work on a bridge just south of the lake. My buddy works for Caltrans and he said that it was originally scheduled to be completed in 2009 but that they have run out of funding and now it is up in the air if it will ever get done. I used to love to go up there in the winter and fish in the snow.

yup its still there, talked to a cal trans guy who said he may have seen some huge fish up there last week. I might have to make the trip up there, somehow...
