Me and my dad were in the area with my family so we decided to Hit up the bay for some Flatties and Bass.

With a pack of Leadheads and 3" big hammers we were gonna catch something lol...

So we hit our one trusty spot and just a lot of taps and short biters but then ZZZZZZZ My dad hooks up! Fights it for a few minutes and up comes a legal. 28" Flattie as a skunk shaker and first legal too, not bad?

Then he gets about 4 More all ranging from 16-20"

I hooked into a Monster too, it bent my hook straight while i was about to land it... It was about 36-40". Then i got about 2 more right at about 18".... And lost a few nicer sized ones too.... Bent hooks on a couple.

All in all a Fun Afternoon... We will be back... thicker hooks and heavier line.

Hahaaha I was wanting to see that pic Flyingbyyy! I wonder where #1 is?

Thanks man!

# 1 was hooked and gutted by Blackwater (Phoung) on his first NPH water experience!
http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z286/flyngby/P4180040-1.jpg

We tried to CPR the "Geordie Boy 1" but a very angry lady came running down the dock swinging a baseball bat at me while I was trying to do the release! We engaged the big motor and ripped it from the dock and once we were out to safety of deeper waters we released it! It was last seen riding the out going current out to the big water!

End of thread jack!

Nice Flattie again Dad!

Man i would love to hook into one of those guys! Just wondering what part of the harbor you guys were workin? Ive never actually fished at CI harbor. I don"t really know what parts of the harbor there are ok to fish from. I assume That off the rocks from both sides of the mouth of the harbor would be ok but other then that I'm really clueless. I would love to work some of the docks and see if I might be able to nab a few spotties or somethin. Any help from anyone would be much appreciated. Thanks
