Crystal Cove Round 2 7-21-07

hey guys went to crystal cove for a friend's bday. while everyone was boogie boarding etc... i went to fish haha. fished from 5-630pm had to wait till the hoards of people left before i could get my line wet. caught a nice sized shovel nose first, then a dink calico, smooth hound and lastly my first surf halibut! :lol: only have a pic of the hali was too lazy to take pics of the others. how big do you guys think it is? i didnt have my measuring tape with me.

Perhaps it was around 14-16 inches? Doesnt appear like a legal to me...

Still a nice catch regardless though! Way to go!

I'd say no bigger than 18" because those pliers look like they're 5 inches.

oh yeah i forgot to mention that i released all the fish. :D
