Lake camping

Are there any lakes in California where you can camp on the lake on a boat......besides the river?

Buena Vista you can leave your boat in the water and camp on the beach if you are lucky enough to get a lakeside spot..

Lake Skinner has a nice campground but it's hot as you know what out there now.

Never mind, just re-read your post and it says "on a boat" - they don't allow that.

Lake nacimento is just up the rd from there also,,,,,,,,,hardly any shore access ,but from a boat the fishing can be really good,,bass and w,bass

san tone= most all fresh water fish+stripers
naci= most all fresh water fish+w,bass

san,tone is still the best all around camping lake,,IMO

YEP,,,,,,,Some people fish out of the c,grounds at the n,shore lakeside camping areas,,,,,,some fish out of the boat all night long out on the lake,,some beach there boat around the lake and set up tents and fish right there,,,ANYWHERE!

shasta has houseboatin so i would think you should be able to camp
