Went out for the late bass and striper mission, haven't been out for the last week due to tendinitis in my right arm, well what ever healing was done this week I'm back to hurting badly.
Man was it hot and humid this afternoon, I was sweating out of my eyeballs, was that bad, luckily I was well hydrated.
While I fished i drank another half gallon of cool water, this is the time to stay away from sodas, might even start up on some salt pills.
I guess I just missed Elkubano13 as I was leaving the marina, how'd you guys do.

Started out at Center Point, then over to the saddle that now underwater at the north end of Sharron's rest, just to much lake lice, I put up with it for to long took one good one over the bow and ran down to the no ski buoy line in the fish arm, at least that's what suppose too be no skiing, still doesn't stop them...
I'd been on a very productive pattern last week and stuck with it today, It's very hard to fish with a spinning rod with the pain in my arm, so again the core 100 and Loomis 802 was put to the task, Bait use was a wacky shakeyhead, the weight is made of tungsten, and then the Jack-all finesse shaky in watermelon black pepper, fish wacky of course, it's amazing this bait doesn't hang up very much, but the loss of the plastic per fish caught is high and these suckers aren't cheap.
I fished the walls and around into the cove where the SS relief is, only got one fish from the wall area, the wind wasn't at my back and boat control was tuff, but when I got around to the other side conditions were better for me.
worked that area for about 8 nice bass.

I saw Fireball"s Dad out there with the family and the ski rope setup and I think the tube, so a guess no fishing for him.
I left that area for what I call old outhouse, went into the very back to take a dip, got hit hard on the shaky but missed him but he stole my plastic, so I threw a split shot in there and got slammed http://i498.photobucket.com/albums/rr349/sddave50/c68bc832.jpg got 3 nice fish out of that area , they slammed it hard, split shot fish...fun
after my dip I worked my way out of the cove and pulled out a couple of nice fish asI was talking to a couple of guys and there son's in a wake board boat that were chilling, they told me that they just saw a huge fish come up out of the water and make a huge splash, they said they yelled for me, but saw that I was swimming, told them that it sounded like a carp from what they told me... turd rollers, don't want to get that started...
The area looked pretty stripee in there so I took out the rip bait and pull out 3 Little rats that I kept for taco's no pic's, so there going to start up pretty soon, just don't think my arm will hold up.
put away the bass gear and left the rip[baits out and ran around to some of the points and casted my arm off as the lake patrol was closing it down, be off the water before 8pm, good luck with that..lol

I caught one little guy ( about 1- 1 1/4 lb) but that was about it for us, caught him off a t-rigged watermelon red flake senko. Still not producing very much but still learning haha. Congrats on another good session and congrats on the rip bait stripers
