going to newport pier tonight with the gf, thinking of going for some mackeral, maybe some halibut or some sand sharks. I always use my mackeral pole to catch them, and i throw an extra pole all the way on the bottom to see if anything bites, any suggestions?what bait to put on the bottom pole?i fish at the very end of the pier. thanks.
