Hey Guys,

Sorri it took so long to Post pics of the Boat, but Work had my busy 7 days a WEEK for the last 3 and a half months and when I do get off...I try to wet a line for a the remainder of the day if I'm even that lucky..

Well, after 7 years of WANTING / Dreaming of a boat, being Promised* a boat, I finally made the best/worst decision in my 23 years. Gotta get-r-dun yourself if you want things in life.

Its the Best cause I finally found what I thought was a good deal, being that the boat belonged to a Good Friend of my Uncles. . .and the Worst because there are only 2 days of happiness that comes w/ the BOAT, when you 1st buy IT and when you SELL it. But that LAST part isn't coming til 5yrs+ I hope.

Shes a 1994-95 17ft Center Consule Reef Invader w/ a 70HP FORCE Marine Mercury O/B Motor. Comes with a Gavinized Trailor, spare wheel, a bunch of lubricants for the bearings and motor, and a Bimimi Top. I also got a 20-25 Gallon Live Bait tank, with a Bilge Pump and all.

Hope you enjoy the pics, let me know what you think.

(Special thanks you those who HELPED me out alot when I fisrt started posting about buying a BOAT. Much APRRECIATED guys! :D )

Well, thats it for now guys. Next on the list, Fish FInder, and Front Mount Troller. Hopefully in a few yrs, a 4-stroke if I save enough.

Tight Lines!

Thanks for your replies and compliments Fellas.

Shes only been in the water ONCE @ da Vine to pop her cherry, that report was kinda weak, so I didn't post it, only caught 1 fish that day, 3 lb. cat. But it felt great being on the water.

I'm planning to get some small things here and there before she goes in the drink again. Kinda want her all cozy and fully loaded on gear and equipment.

Next on the list:

1) Fish Finder...buy it then mount the sucker. $300?

2) Front Mount Trolling motor. Probably $250?....iono....

3) 6 speaker system with a 5 channel amp (have it all already)
-Xtra battery for the music ($100?)

Then a couple of rods to finalize my count.

Congrats! It this the same boat that there was a discussion on in the old message board? I think it was a few months ago... Either way it looks great.

What type of trolling motor do you plan on getting? I'm looking to add one as well... I had a 65lb 24V Minn Kota Riptide foot controlled that I sold... I'm looking to get a bow mount hand controlled... Just an FYI, a decent trolling motor with batteries, wiring, and etc. is going to set you back close to $800 more or less depending on if you go with either a 12V/24V.

See you out on the water sometime!

Hey Grimpy!

Thank you for all your help and advice. Sorry for taking soooo loong for the pics I told you I'd post. Yea, it was the same boat. I had to get her, she was toooo clean not to, figured it was in pretty goood condition considering its a 1994-5.

As for the trolling motor, if its $800, its gonna set me back a couple (reality: a few) of weeks...man, thought I'd get away with 300 or $400 max...then theres the fish finder....man, this short list keeps dragging on.

Hope to catch you on the waters too...sooon!

IN case you didn't know... BOAT.. stands for Bring Out Another Thousand...

On that note.. a little at a time, Nice boat. My next one will be a center console. When I take the Misses and the daughter, I still lean to starboard. By myself.. forget it. I usually sit in the middle across the two seats. Not the safest way to drive a boat.. But, hey, it's a boat and it's new.. I think I'll keep her fer awhile..

Anyways, nice boat. It'll be fun :D
