Dana's memorial net

Before he passed, Dana ordered a net from me up at Parchers "just like mine." We were playing PM & phone tag when I called the night after and reached Donna to hear the horrible news.

Dana was so excited for me-One of those great qualities of this amazing man. He even invited Sierra Nets (Me) to join him in the Team 57 booth at Fred Hall next year and said maybe we could add them to the Team 57 store. What graciousness! He was an irreplaceable man and I was looking SO fwd to working with him more and more.

I decided to add a few touches and deliver at the Funeral. Damn, this sucks.

Greg that net looks great. I remember when we were all setting there at parcher's and Dana was really excited about that net. I am sure that net really brings great Joy to you to work on but at the same time I know how much Dana meant to you, and I can only imagine the "Tears" that have went in to this net on behalf of of "Fisherman 57" Great job, your a Great Guy, it really looks Fabulous. He would be Proud.

WOW your woodworking skillz are awesome!!!!!..... Dana's net is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

I appreciate your work and I loved the post you did a while back showing steps of how you make your nets. I work with my husband, who is a General Contractor, and I always loved watching the woodworking sections of a project the most. I love to see the different grains in the wood and after it is stained see the beauty of the end result. I soooo loved the lil inlay, sweeet!
Good Work there Greg, I am sure Dana is very pleased.

I lost my best friend and fishing buddy a few years back and only wish I had a talent that was haft as good as yours that could have show my appreciation as well as you have. A fitting memorial for sure. God Bless his Soul and his Team. He will be Remembered......
