went to perris yesterday morning... had so much fun. tubed for the first time.... heck yea.. i'll be out alot more... caught a few crappie and a LMB.. CHECK IT OUT..

CAUGHT THIS LMB on my crappie pole... damn 4lb test.. my wrist was killing me.. about a good 15 min to pull in.. lol..

Oh yeah! I've had that happen too while fishing crappie on 4lb. Actually one time I was throwing a 1/16 oz. jig for crappie on 4lb. and hooked into something solid...REAL solid. Ended up being a huge LMB. He came up and jumped twice before wrapping me around a dock piling and snapping me off like no ones business. Guesstimating that fish was somewhere around 10 lbs. I think I stood there in shock with my jaw on the floor for a bit - good times!

Yes Perris is a nice place to float tube. Lots of places to fish and lots of fish to catch.
I use only 2 lb line at Perris while fishing for panfish. Once in a while I'll get a bass too like this 20" 4+ pounder. You just have to take your time, have a good quality line, and have your drag set right (loose).

adiablo420 looks like your rockin' the CLASSIC TOGIAK Float tube bro! I recognize that thing from anywhere..I got one just like that one hahaa.... maybe one day we may run into eachother and have a crappie day! lol... Anyway great job on the LMB and the Crappie...Perris is always loaded everytime i go.
By the way, 4lbs test is always good....there aint nothing but a good ole fashion fish battle!

That lake is a blast to tube! My $.02: get a small anchor from BP and some light rope for the days when the wind will try and work your legs out and be REALLY cautious as the summer keeps rolling since the boaters out there get crazier in the heat of the season.
BTW, is that a Trout Unlimited tube?

its a Togiak trout unlimited tube..its my La-Z-boy in the water...it was so comfortable.....thanks for the propss guys...i've already made plans to go back this weekend... fish on!!!!
