I have been looking around on the web but I am unable to find a time when they are running, and i know it is supposed to be soon. Anyone know when they are running?

there arent really any real "runs". They generally are found throughout the year, much like anchovies and mackerel.

You should be able to find them at most piers right now. Summer is the best time to find them, because of the increased plankton numbers. If on the pier, search for a dark spot under the surface, it will look like a ball, this is often a school of sardines and anchovies balling up to protect themselves from mackerel.

huh, I just remember back when there were like silver swarms of them and i just used a piscator rig, and pulled up tons of them with just that. but this was like 10 years ago and someone took me along, so I dont know exactly what the details were.
