Pops and I went to check some MDR rockcod numbers. Most of the numbers are still good. A few bad ones got deleted to clear up the clutter on my chartplotter. Really good rockfishing again. Bunch of bait around and had fun sitting there watching the thresher sharks whip their tail at baitfish while I picked up my low carb fish dinner. Pictures:

The shallower holes had a lot of the bigger red snappers. The thresher were schooling and feeding big time at this rockcod hole. They whipping bait all around my boat. It was scaring the hell out of me. Got kind of freaky so I left the area.

Went to try another spot. Spitfire was on my butt, luckily I was not at a honey hole. I dont think he did very well because the 2 rockpile was right behind each other and they were the size of my boat. I was on it the whole time. I think Captain Jeremy was wondering why I had a hook up on every drop. Picked up quite a few barberpoles at this spot to finish the rockfishing day.

Parting shot. Went back inside to do some bass fishing. When I got there, the Spitfire was right on my coordinates. Did a drift further inside and found a big spot of bass. Then the stupid thresher sharks came and ruined my party again. Eff them stupid sharks.
Another great day in the bay. See you next time.
