Just swing by your local Smart&Final, and pick yourself up a Keep it Cool bag.
these things WORK. I placed a few chunks of ice in there, and they lasted the whole day.
You can just get a ziplock freezerbag with some ice in it, put it in the keep it cool bag, then roll the keep it cool bag up, and put it in your backpack. Then you can put it in your gunny sack, and your fish will be ultra fresh ;)
they have a velcro strip on the top to seal the bag, works great!
This is very important for guys like me that dont have a car and bus it around.
its terrible to catch a fish, only to have it spoil on the way home.
