anyone fish the kern recently? I'm headed up to do a little camping a little north of kernville. Anyone got some good news from the area?

brother in law, sister and their kids went up a week or so ago camped out,, caught a bunch of trout and a few suckers just drifting salmon eggs and powerbait.. and an occassional unlucky grasshopper the kids managed to catch

The river is flowing good. The lake is high. Fishing should be great.
