So i wanted to hit the beach to get some perch action or any other fish wiling to bite. Man i picked the worst time to go fishing. i got to the beach at 2pm and it was windy, there were loads of people and gigantic waves. I gave it a try anyways but every cast resulted in more and more kelp. So i fished for 2 more hours out of sheer determination. Eventually it was getting cold and i was getting hungry so i called it a day. Funny thing is i saw a skunk a few days ago hmmm was that a sign? Anyways anyone have tips for if the surf is to high or any other useful tips fishing the surf.
