anyone got any suggestions on a good boat or good landing to get a mid week light load? my pops hasnt been fishing in awhile and itd be cool to get a shot at some good fishing

Where are you located?
Most of the half day boats, from O.C. on down are getting lots of Sand Bass right now.
So just choose and head out.

U can go to long beach marina o pierpoint landing and go on the enterprise o victory there doing good on the sandbass with a mix of cudas and those boats are closer to horseshoe kelp (that's were they fishing) so that means more time fishing by the way this two boats are good and there 3/4 day trips and it's $50.... I'm going this Tuesday on the enterprise so maybe we might see each other if u go that day

I believe Dana point offer two for one on Wed, its a little crowded but what the %$#@ its half price fishing.

if your in burbank & you want a light load try the 1/2 matt walsh out of l.a. harbor..im not saying its the best fishing but its close & theey have lite loads usually during the week....www.sportfishingreport.com might have some info to help you
