I took out a New person to surf fishing his name is Richard. I took Richard to a place that i knew we can get some nice size spotfin. So the guy got down there before me i told him to get i spot. I got there about 9am after i got bait for the 2 of us. I help him got set up. I put on some Mussel for him and help him toss out his bait. I then i put out my line and i start getting hits. But i could not set the hook on them but i know they were BSP. Then i got a good hit and and sent the hook i know it was not a big fish i finally got in and it was a small Corbina. After i but more bait on i went back to the and then Richard started reeling is his line and he did not know that he had a Spotfin on there. It was about 12inch or so. He but his fish in the bucket with the Corbina. Sorry no picture of his Spotfin. I then got a other hook up it did not bend my pole bad but i know it was small got it in for a BSP. We start getting into some some more BSP after the one. Then i got a nice hit but i know it was no Spotfin i got it in for a nice size YFC about 12inch. I but him in the bucket with the other fish. The we starting getting more BSP. Then i got a good hook up then which i knew it was a Spotfin but i lost it. I reel in my line to found out that i broke me off at the hook. So i tried on another hook and but more mussel on a few mins later i got other hook up and i lost it again this time it took my whole leader. I tried on a new leader. It was 1pm and Richard had to leave. But right after he lift i hooked up on nice size fish and this time i was not going to lose it. I finally got it in it into my my reach and i could see it was i nice size spotfin.

I gave it a few more mins but the surf started getting bigger. So i called it a day around 2pm. He are the some pics of the fish when i got home.
