Fishing In Southern Louisiana, Fresh or Salt.

Temporially working in Baton Rouge, LA and the guys want to fish, but where? All the locals say one thing, there isn't anything to do in Baton Rouge except go to New Orleans and get in trouble. Any suggestions about guides, etc?

plenty of fishing . go to the achafalaya basin, or lake ponchatrain, theres lakes, canals , bayous etc.. dont listen to whoever told u that crap. its the sportsman's paradise. just find any tackle shop and ask.
