Today was the 3rd of July tournament which was a Catfish Masters Qualifier. A good quality load of fish was dumped into the lake prior to this event so it figured to be a event full of big fish. However, the bigger fish proved to be tough this tournament with a lot of broken lines and heartbreak stories. However some big fish manged to make their way to the scales for anglers fishing the right gear.
Bradley Sampson of Long Beach had the right gear to bag this 17.6 Channel Catfish. Bradley was fishing in the flats when the big kittie bit.
