ok so 1st time up there, parked at the baseball fields and walked down the path to the right. fished at three different spots with no luck. started off with nightcrawlers on one pole and mini jigs on the other, kept getting snaged in weeds with the mini jigs so gave up. tried 4 or 5 different colors of pb and different leader lengths, nothing. a guy jogging comes by around 10:30 and says hey they just stocked by the boat ramps on the other side. so I pack up and hike to the left of the baseball fields. caught my 1st fish at 12:30, dink let him go, ended up catching 4 total and only kept 1. not the best day fishing but better than work !

Last time I fished by the baseball diamond area the cove was choked with this green slime. I've never seen it before in this lake. Glad you got up there before the crowds.

I thought they don't stock that lake anymore. Well, atleast you didn't catch a skunk. Any fishing day is better than work. Unless you fish for a living...
