I use big hammers and they work like a charm, however, I had a thought to see if Booyah A-Jigs or Baby-Jigs would work (if they are used properly along docks, rocks, walls, bluffs). Has anyone tried them in Newport Harbor?

Yep, pretty much all freshwater bass techniques / tackle will work in the harbor

Spinners do work. Even frog-poppers will work, despite frogs not being present.

I went last week and I got three small rays using anchovies. The kid next to me got a grey smoothhound shark and a yellowfin croaker using chovies. The plastics were not working at that particular dock.
