Went out for the last day of my of my lake permit, going to have to come up with some $ for a new one... bummer
they pay for them selves if you fish alot, works for me.
Thought I was going to get my truck back so that didn't happen so I headed up to upper.
freaking hot days are here, the lice are slick and dump as ever, this guys skier couldn't get up for nothing and the driver just kept doing donuts around giving instructions and sending 3 footers over my bow...http://i498.photobucket.com/albums/rr349/sddave50/112c1cb4.jpg
But thats what I get when I fish these area's, lake has gone up fast, but the fish are still there, so much fun watching them come after the baits.. fished for 3 hours, got 6 fish, looked for some new area's, should have jumped in...

I'm going to start guiding as soon as the Paper work comes back, I'll anounce it here with discounts and hopefully a website... I've finally decided to do it, I feel I can help out others learn to fish this lake and for guys who are there allready put them on fish so they don't have to doo the homework to find them and what there biting on, and for ou striper guys and can show you other ways how to catch them with out soaking bait, that bite should start anytime now, it's a little late if anything, good fishing , Dave

once the shad start showing up the baiting and waiting is practically a waste of time

maybe you can elaborate on what you mean by baiting and waiting? Not really following you.I don't see the shad moving up until the very end of August, and even when they do bass can still be caught using artificial lures, it's even easer to catch them at that time using artifcial! But the shad bite is fun, like candy to a kid, and I'm still a kid...
