Nph high tide fail***

well hit nph at midnight cause the hightide was in, well i thought was in..seeing how i am new to this i told danny that high tide was gonna be in at midnight which it was. BUT, we caught the tapering end of it where the tide is rolling out and from about 1 to 9:30 fishing sucked. we ran to newport pier and soaked some sand worms near the surf, danny had a solid hit but no committed fish. we rolled back to nph about 6:30 and worked all docks and pilings with no hits. about 10:00 i picked up a baby sandy at the lil beach area where i caught my first sandy from the tourney..met up with danny and headed for the bridge and picked up this lil spottie on the right side of the marina bridge no bigger than 1 lb and called it quits after that..we left about 11:00 and went I*E bound..
thanx for the ride danny300 and the breakfast..planning on going again tonite..i'll drive..
