Yesterday i met up with Rob and James to do a upper lake stiper slay session.
We got to the lake around 7am loaded up James boat and we were off, armed with 3 seasoned anglers and plenty of sardines.
Are first spot was out near the west side of the main buoy line. Since it was down we picked a hot spot that we all knew about. We set anchor out and started soaking some bait. We all started getting nibbled and bringing back nothing but a hook. Finally Rob and myself hooked into 2 smaller grade schoolies. The bite was really slow so we moved to another spot just to the south. Nothing there so then i said we should move to the Ski training cove buoy line since i had some luck there the day before. (caught 5 striper there the day before). So we make the move and get there around 10am pretty much the second we drop the bait down BAM BAM BAM we all start hooking up triples and even quad hook ups. It was WFO. These were all great quality sized fish. we ended up picking up on a school of 6 to 7 pound fish. At one point i hooked up, then Rob hooked up, and then James hooked up and then Rob's other pole hooked up. It was just plain nuts!!!!!!!!!!!! By 10:45 i had my limit. Then some other guys moved in on our spot and the bite died off.
We moved out in search of new ground so we could finish off a triple limit. James had 5 Rob had 6 i had my limit. We moved to Sharron's Rest set up anchor and dropped bait. I hooked into another striper in a manner of a few minutes. I grabbed it up and passed it on to help fill the 30 fish for us. Then BAM i get another bigger hit but it broke my line. We tried there a bit longer but the wind and waves were pulling up the anchor.
Then we moved to the back of Elizabeth canyon. This is where we finished off the limits. We were all hooking into some smaller grade fish and James hooked into a nice 3 pounder. We got off the lake around 4pm with 30 fish total on the boat!!!!!! I can easily say this was the best day I've had on the upper lake.
Here are my pics, i'm sure the other guys will follow soon with there pics and i know Rob took some video during the WFO bite.

For the day Rob took big fish honors with one just shy of 7 pounds
I took most fish with 15 (or 16 if you count the hook and hand from the epic quad hook up)
James takes the most honors though for getting us on his boat and putting us on the fish. Thanks again man, had a great time and the fishing was just epic!!!!!!!! Can't wait to get back out there with ya again man.
