headed out to the shoe with troutman65 sat morning around 7am. overcast and kinda sloppy seas out to the shoe in my lil 18" CC. Couple boils here and there didnt see very much happening so headed towards the rigs for some rockfish. ripping current made it very hard with 8oz wt. managed a dozen sand dabs and couple nice sculpin. back in at 12 to wash boat and head home!

patrick ended up getting blisters from holding on going full throttle in the slop!
sorry patrick!

WOW, I did not think you would of done a report as due to slow fishing we had. I had a really great time back on the salt and enjoyed the fishing Andy . Thanks for asking me to go . It was a ruff ride for me and I have the battle wounds and my entire body is sore . I would go again in a heart beat . Thanks again for a great day on the water and that really helped get my mind off losing my friend Budman8 for the day . Hope we can do it again sometime

Hi FISHNMOFO,

Rigs, 8oz weight, Rockfish target, meager but challenging/interesting catch ..... sounds like the first 3 months of this year on a moo-moo trip !! But .... still fun just for the experience of being out on the water, fish-taco fixins' and sharing it with a buddy.

Sorry to hear of those rosey red palms........ from just holding on ;) How long did it take you to get to or better yet return from the rigs ?

Naw , It's not a big deal Bob. It's more funny than anything. That boat ride sure beat me up . I am glad the sea swells were not any bigger than they were .

Hi Troutman65,

' I am glad the sea swells were not any bigger than they were. ' You might should better be happier that the boat's maximum possible speed wasn't 70mph ! ha ha ha
