One of my good friends invited me out pokepoling yesterday. He explained the idea and it seemed a little odd, but he said we would have almost a for sure chance of catching something good. on the hike over my friends dad came up on a skunk(which he credits as an omen to his fishing).once getting there the day started out really slow, but him and i had caught a couple small rock cod which we just tossed back. my friend proceeded to land a cabazon, and from there it went dead. after going back and forth I nearly threw in the towel when he caught a good sized monkey faced eel, and it inspired me to start back up, so we fished around and found a great spot which my friend landed another 16 inch cabazon and I (finally) got quite a keeper of a 21 inch cabazon. all in all it was a pretty good day, except unfortunately for my friends dad who came back null.

Were you using Bamboo or a telescoping rod?
