Big bear campsites?

Does anyone know of a good campsite preferably as close as posible to the water....also of any shore fishing spots near those sites..

I've never been up there and I am going with family coming up soon so any help will be greatly appreciated.

Ok that's one campsite now for fishing haha any spots near there that I can get in on some shore fishing.and I'm not gonna lie I don't even know what species are in the lake besides trout of course so some info on that would be nice and if anyone else has any info please feel free.

There are some catfish and trout to be had right down in front of the campground.. Trout fishing is much better down by the dam.. Bring your bikes if you camp there, good bike path. Good luck on the reservation for this summer.
