Convict Lake 06/19/10 - 06/21/10

Did a quick Mammoth trip, but then realized the shore fishing is not that fun at Twin Lakes so headed down to Convict. It was a great trip with lots of fishies to be had.

The new toy for this trip was the "fish recovery area". Decided to make a place to let the fish swim around and rest after being hauled in. It was neat watching them up close.

For some reason these fish all wanted to face the rocks and sit there. Couldn't understand why they all faced the same way.

i LOVE convict, one of the most beautiful, pristine lakes. i hope it will stay like that for years to come. good job with the fishing, and thanks for the report.

It's a once in a decade year.
I can't wait for the fall season.
