Hey Guys, sorry for the late report, but we had a great time on the freelance out of Davey's. I went out with a couple of friends and one brought his two daughters. Unfortunately my son couldn't make it because of a high school passing league game. WE stopped for a few mins at the San O bass grounds with a few brought up but nothing major to speak of. One of the reasons is because we only spent about 15 mins there, before the captain got word of a wide-open cuda bite just south.
We rolled up there about 15 20 mins later and there were some dogs around so the bite wasn't exceptional, but once they left it was WFO!!! Landed 13 and probably had another half a dozen get of cause I took off my wire leader to see if the yellows would bite. It seemed like every time the dines hit the water they were getting hit. Most were REALLY nice logs. The best part was watching my buddy's girls fight these things! They loved it! Ourt group landed 48 Cuda (some were thrown back) and 4 Sandies!
