My client today is vacationing in Coronado, visiting from Delaware. We started the day using the candy bait, just to get him warmed up, and watching "Fishbreath" Larry's grandson hammer the fish. He certainly has the fish catching genes from his grandpa Larry.

Brian started things off for us with a couple of decent fish, and it was followed by a big catfish that he had a blast fighting. The cat was around 10#, and was his personal best catfish. Brian also managed to catch a big bluegill.

We only fished the candy bait for about an hour, then decided to go and see if the terrific reaction bite was still there. It was! I set up Brian with an Ima Shaker crankbait, and in no time he was into fish. Brian had never seen the Ima Shaker, and he loved it's action, and fish catching qualities.

Brian had heard of the Senko before, but had never tried it, so I said let's go fish it. In just the first few cast with the Senko, Brian had 3 fish, and one of them was his new personal best bass. This fish was caught just as Larry "Fishbreath" and his grandson pulled away after chatting for a bit. The bass weighed in at 5.00 # on the nose.

Here are a few photos from today.

P.S. I have not posted for a while, but I have photos from 5 trips I still need to post up. Hope to get them up soon.

Great job Art! It was nice to see you guys having a good time. We made it a short day because of tourist commitments. My grandson had a terrific time too. He is at the beach this afternoon. He wound up with some good fish and hopefully some good memories.
