surf fishing on fri

I am going to be in the pacific palasades area on fri and not sure what beaches to hit up. I normally fish ventura and SB areas but I've got a buddy in town and we want to get a little perch/butt/bass or any thing else fishing in. NOT asking for any secret spots, just some ideas, any thing would help.

You can try zuma area down to countty line...
