Fished nph with my girl for a few hours Sunday. We lauched around noon and headed out just past the mouth if the harbor. We have a 1985 glastron open bow so I was a little nervous taking it out of the harbor but my girl talked me into it. We started on the wedge side of the jetty. First fish was a mackeral for my lady. The little thing put up a he'll of a fight on the light tackle I brought. We were fishing squid and thought she had a halibut by the way the pole was bending. Then we moved to the cdm side of the jetty and I caught a small stingray. Once again a heck of a fight on light tackle. I started to get a little seasick so we fished in the harbor for a couple more hours. No fish but my girl did hook into something really big that almost spooled her before it broke off. Next time I will bring the bigger poles. Overall a fun day on the water.
